The DYDG of the National Health Laboratory (NHL) Professor Daw Htay Htay Tin is the head of this working group. In collaboration with UK experts led by the Addenbrooke’s Hospital Blood Sciences lead Mr. Ian Halsall, the group has developed a short and long-term plan to improve the quality and safety of pathology services in Myanmar, including the accreditation process of the NHL and the major tertiary hospital Yangon General Hospital.
